Orchard pocket park
Denis Smith, from the Stamford Community Orchard Group, will provide an introduction to the correct techniques for winter pruning followed by a demonstration and a practical session.
We will focus on general guidelines that will give you the confidence to take on pruning tasks of your own.
The event is free to local residents* – please wrap up warm, wear stout footwear and protective gloves ….. and bring your loppers, secateurs and refreshments with you!
