Covid-19
Coronavirus (COVID-19): what you need to do
We each have a civic responsibility to abide by the guideline and protect one another from the spread of this disease.
Stay alert
We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:
- stay at home as much as possible
- work from home if you can
- limit contact with other people
- keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart)
- wash your hands regularly
Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

The company that is responsible for the agricultural reservoir to the north of Eaglethorpe, to the east of the Eaglethorpe underpass below the A605, has applied for permission to quarry land on the water meadows, close to Warmington Mill, across which the Nene Way passes. The application includes proposals to build a bridge across the River Nene to transport materials.
The same company has applied for extensions to ancillary works to the existing reservoir to be extended to 2030
and an extension to the existing plant and works site, that had been for the creation of a reservoir, to enable additional operational space for treatment of materials for landfill, stockpiling and storage.
The council has submitted a 36-page objection to the new quarry, which can be accessed here:
