Warmington Horticultural Society

Spring flowers on traditional stone wall

The Warmington Horticultural Society (WHS) is affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society. We are over 100 years old and have a thriving membership with many activities throughout the year.

Our biggest fundraiser is our fantastic yearly plant sale at the village hall each May which has customers queuing from early morning! We also organise and run the hugely successful Warmington Village Show (fourth Saturday in July) which seems to grow bigger every year and includes baking, jams, preserves as well as fruit and vegetables, children's categories and an immense range of talents in the handicrafts sections, truly something for everyone!

We have a guest speaker at least twice a year. We are a friendly and welcoming group. Membership costs £3 per year. To find out more please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

New committee members wanted! Would you be interested in joining the committee? You don’t have to be a keen horticulturist, just enthusiasm to get involved in a longstanding village society. It’s a great way to meet new people while helping to organise events. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Warmington Annual Village Garden and Crafts Show

The annual show is an opportunity for villagers from Warmington and the surrounding area to enter a variety of classes to showcase their skills and create a wonderful display in the Village Hall. It is a great social occasion and there is also the chance to win prizes! There are around 130 classes within categories of gardens, flowers, vegetables, flower arranging, cookery and crafts. There are specific classes for children. It’s a fun and friendly show and we’re keen to help new exhibitors.

The date for the annual show this year is Saturday 22nd July 2023. Printed schedules will be distributed to society members. Additional printed copies will be available in Glebe Stores. You can also download a PDF version of the 2023 schedule and entry form from Show guide 2023 Entry Form 2023 .
